Hi There! Howdy! 안녕!
I’m Jen! Introvert, nature seeking, highly-sensitive person figuring out how to enjoy life at a slower pace. I’ve always felt like I belonged on a quiet trail and moved to CO where nature is nearby with my partner, Aaron.
I didn’t grow up with dogs but dreamed I’d have an adventure dog of my own. Enter Mando – my first dog at 29 and spoiler alert: he becomes my imperfect, perfect dog. Mando developed fear reactivity towards dogs after an incident and the world became a bit scarier for him. The way we adventure looks different now because of Mando but that slower pace taught me something unexpected. Adventuring isn’t always about rushing from one big moment to the next. It’s about savoring the little ones – the quiet trails, the wagging tails, and the joy of just being outside together.

About My Journey as a Creator:
I’m passionate about sharing how we adventure with our dogs while balancing the demands of a 9–5 job. Whether it’s camping on weekends, hitting the trails after work, or squeezing in a road trip during a long weekend, we’re all about making the most of every moment. My hope is that our stories inspire others to do the same—especially those who, like us, didn’t grow up with easy access to nature. You don’t need to quit your job or buy a van to enjoy the outdoors—it’s for everyone, no matter where you start.
With a deep love for nature, a background in UX design, and a passion for capturing adventures through my camera lens, I strive to tell unique stories that celebrate the love of dogs, the beauty of nature, and the importance of making outdoor spaces inclusive for all.
